Terms of Service

Last updated September 12, 2026

Read how we handle your data in the Privacy Policy

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Conxt: the website at conxt.dev, the dashboard, the Chrome extension, the MCP server and the API (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

If you use Conxt on behalf of a team or company, you agree to these Terms for it, and you confirm that you are allowed to.

2. The service

Conxt captures decisions, preferences and context from your AI sessions as memory records, keeps them in a vault you own, and makes them available to the AI tools you connect.

Conxt is in beta. Features may change, and we may add, change or remove parts of the service as it develops.

3. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your password and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. If you think either has been compromised, tell us straight away at hello@conxt.dev.

Conxt is not intended for anyone under 13.

4. Your content

You own your memory records and anything else you send to Conxt. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for having the right to capture and store the content you send to Conxt, including anything that belongs to your employer or clients.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Conxt to break the law or anyone else's rights. Do not try to reach another user's data, probe or disrupt the service, get around its limits, or overload it. Do not resell the service or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.

We may suspend access that puts the service or other users at risk.

6. AI tools and their output

Conxt passes context to the third-party AI tools you choose to connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot. Those tools are run by their providers under their own terms.

Memory records are extracted automatically and can be incomplete or wrong. Review what your tools act on; decisions made with Conxt's context remain yours.

7. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown before you pay, and renew until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your plan from the dashboard. Taxes may apply where required.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using Conxt at any time. You can export your memory and delete individual records from the dashboard, and ask us to delete your account through the dashboard or at hello@conxt.dev. What happens to your data when you do is described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, Conxt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will tell you about significant changes by email or with a notice in the dashboard. Continuing to use Conxt after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
